Target Audience

Pest Management Technicians

Purpose

To encourage Technicians to look for opportunities to quote additional work in domestic and commercial environments. This includes timber pest work, bird management, fly control etc.

This promotion excludes the upsell of general pest work or timber pest inspections during services for clients (See related Promotion – Technician Upsell)

Inclusions / Exclusions

Includes:

  • All Technicians delivering services in domestic and commercial services.
  • The Technician must quote for the work that they will personally be performing (Not quoting in behalf of other technicians)

Excludes:

  • Sales Persons (and National Sales BDMs) engaged on a wage + commission basis

The Prizes

Each Month:

  • The Technicians with the top 10 conversion rates will receive a $25 store voucher.

 

Additional Promotion

This classification is eligible for the Grand Prize for 2015.

Performance will be measured from January-November 2015.

Assessment Criteria

You must submit an average of 4 or more quotes per month across the promotion period.A ranking score is calculated based on a weighted average formula with a heavy weighting (70%) applied to the Conversion Rate in combination (30%) with the total value of the sales.

The conversion rate (number of jobs accepted / number of jobs quoted) for the period.

In case of a tied result, the average value of the sales will be used as a secondary criterion.

Submissions must be able to be validated against ABS.

Definitions:

Quote:

  • A written quote for services (e.g. timber pest service, bird management, fly management etc).

Accepted Quote:

  • The job must have been booked and completed before it has been considered “accepted”.

  • The accepted job is reported in the month that it is done.

Grand Prize Scoring:

  • The ranking scores will be accumulated over the Promotion period.

  • The Technician with the highest accumulated score at the end of the Promotion will win the Grand Prize.

  • In the case of a draw, the average value of sales will be used as a secondary criterion.

Terms and Conditions

  • You must be a current member of the APC Group at the time that the prize is awarded.

  • The prize is not redeemable for cash.

  • In cases where it is not practical to redeem the monthly prize of store vouchers or movie tickets (e.g. no stores or cinemas exist within a reasonable distance), an alternative reward to the equivalent value can be negotiated with APC.

  • Only prize winner names will be published each month.


Submissions apply from January 2015

Submissions must be made by the Branch after verification using the prescribed spreadsheet.
